Privacy Policy

1. Introduction
Feedbacked (“the Platform,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to being straightforward about how we handle your data. This Privacy Policy explains exactly what information we collect, why we collect it, and what happens to it. We are based in Florida, United States.
The Platform connects two types of users: Clients, who create and commission surveys to gather product feedback, and Testers, who complete those surveys in exchange for payment.
By using the Platform, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
2. Information We Collect
Account information (all users). When you register, we collect your name, username, email address, and country. Your password is stored in hashed form — we never store it in plain text.
Payment information (Testers). To send you earnings, we collect your bank account routing number, account number, and billing address. This information is collected for the sole purpose of processing your payout via Mercury, our payment processor. Feedbacked does not store your bank credentials on our own systems — this data is passed directly to Mercury and governed by their handling. However, we do store a one-way hash derived from your routing number and account number combined. This hash cannot be used to recover your banking details and is retained solely to detect and prevent duplicate account registrations and fraud. See Section 4 for details.
Identity verification data (Testers). Testers must complete identity verification before accessing surveys or receiving payment. This process is handled entirely by Stripe Identity and may involve submitting a government-issued ID and a selfie or biometric scan. Feedbacked does not store your identity documents. We receive only a pass/fail verification result from Stripe. See Section 4 for details.
Survey content (Testers). When you complete a survey, we store your responses — including answers to questions and any open-text feedback. Per our Terms of Service, this content is owned by Feedbacked upon submission and is delivered to the Client who commissioned the survey.
Client content. When you create a survey as a Client, we store your company name, product URL, and the questions you write.
Email verification. When you create an account, we send a verification email to the address you provide. This email contains a one-time link used solely to confirm that the address belongs to you. We do not send marketing or promotional emails. Transactional emails related to your account (such as payment confirmations or support replies) may be sent as needed.
Automatically collected information. When you use the Platform, we automatically collect your IP address, approximate location derived from it, and timestamps. This is used to operate the Platform, detect fraud, and determine country eligibility.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the data we collect to:
• Create and manage your account.
• Match Testers with available surveys.
• Verify survey responses using our AI verification system.
• Deliver verified results to Clients.
• Process payments to Testers via Mercury.
• Verify Tester identity through Stripe Identity.
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and duplicate accounts.
• Communicate with you about your account, payments, or support requests.
• Comply with applicable legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information to any third party, and we do not use it for advertising.
4. Third-Party Services
Feedbacked is designed to minimize third-party data sharing. Two external processors handle specific sensitive data as a necessary part of core Platform functionality. Outside of these two services, your data is not shared with or transmitted to any third parties.
Mercury (payment processing). To pay Tester earnings via bank transfer, we pass your bank routing number, account number, and address to Mercury. Feedbacked does not store these credentials — they are transmitted directly to Mercury for the purpose of processing your payout. We do, however, store a one-way hash derived from your routing number and account number combined. This hash cannot be used to recover your banking details and is retained solely to detect and prevent duplicate account registrations and fraud. Mercury’s handling of this data is governed by Mercury’s own privacy policy and applicable financial regulations.
Stripe Identity (identity verification). Testers are required to verify their identity before accessing surveys. This verification is handled by Stripe Identity and may involve submitting a government-issued ID and biometric data. Feedbacked receives only a pass/fail result from Stripe and does not store any identity documents or biometric data on our systems. Stripe’s handling of this data is governed by Stripe’s own privacy policy.
5. Cookies
We use cookies for one purpose only: to maintain your login session. No cookies are set until you log in. Visiting the Platform without logging in places no cookies on your device. When you log in, a single session cookie is set to keep you authenticated while you use the Platform. No tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies are used at any point. When you log out or close your browser, your session cookie is cleared.
You may disable cookies in your browser settings, but doing so will prevent you from staying logged in.
6. Tester Anonymity
Survey responses are delivered to Clients without any personally identifying information about the Tester. Clients never receive your name, email address, bank details, or any other information that could identify you as the individual who submitted a response.
7. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or destruction. Passwords are stored using one-way hashing. Sensitive data in transit is encrypted. Access to production systems is restricted.
No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure. While we take security seriously, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account remains active. Survey responses are retained as needed to deliver results to Clients and for a reasonable period afterward for dispute resolution and quality assurance. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymize your data when it is no longer needed to fulfill legal obligations or resolve outstanding matters.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, correct, or request deletion of data we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below. We will respond within a reasonable time. Note that some data may be retained as required by law even after a deletion request.
10. Age Requirement
The Platform is for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has created an account, please contact us and we will remove it promptly.
11. International Users
The Platform is operated from the United States. If you access it from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the Platform, you consent to this transfer.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you via email or through the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
